I believe that I am a citizen of the world, regardless of my birthplace.

Subjects of math, science and the arts have always interested me since my childhood. I am a recipient of a bachelor degree in engineering at Louisiana State university. I pursued my passion in art and traveled the world. My artwork is about uniting the people.

The garment is a fun and educational piece, made of two pieces, a tunic and a hat. The tunic is inspired by the pre-Islamic, Persian Cuneiform number “ONE” symbolizing unity. The hat is inspired by art after Islam conquered Iran about 1403 years ago. I transformed a Persian rug into a conical hat with green paisley that symbolizes Islamic Iran and embellished it.

I feel this workshop helped me embrace my birth place in regards to being the first to respect the Human Rights and honor belief systems over 2600 years ago.

A heartfelt thank you to our funders and sponsors for helping us to realize these projects in full.
